Embedding Notion Forms natively: A step-by-step guide
Notion is rolling out a game-changing feature that allows users to embed Notion forms (and any Notion page) natively on their websites. This feature is part of a phased rollout and is not yet available to everyone. However, if you're one of the lucky Notion users with early access, you can now embed Notion content without relying on third-party tools.
Why this matters
Before this update, embedding a Notion page or form required paid third-party products. With this new feature, embedding is free and native, making it accessible to all Notion users. This is great news for anyone looking to streamline their workflow and enhance their website's functionality.
Step-by-step guide to embedding Notion Forms
Step 1: Ensure your form is public
- Open the Notion form you wish to embed.
- Navigate to the 'Share Form' menu.
- Confirm that the form is set to public.

Step 2: Copy the embed code
- In the 'Share Form' menu, look for the option to 'Embed this form'.
- Click on it to copy the provided embed code.

Step 3: Prepare your website
- Open your website builder (e.g., Webflow).
- Navigate to the page where you want to embed the Notion form.
Step 4: Add the code embed component
- Insert a 'Code Embed' component on the page.
- Paste the Notion embed code that you copied earlier.

Step 5: Adjust iFrame closure
- Ensure the iFrame is properly closed in the embed code to avoid display issues: replace the “/>” by “</iframe>”

Step 6: Save and publish
- Save your changes in the website builder.
- Publish the page to see the Notion form embedded.
